I am mainly starting this blog for my mother, Valerie Chandler. She is always getting on to me about how I never document anything, so hopefully this will help me. To the right you will find a picture of the one and only Val, just so you have a visual. My first blog entries will be documenting my travels to go see my friend Riza in Japan, a trip we have both been trying to work out since Freshman year and it is finally happening! I have also put up a picture of her for your viewing pleasure, she is the asian one. I leave in two days for Japan, not really sure what I am going to do there, but Tokyo Disney is on the list so that sounds pretty cool. I have just started packing, and as you can tell from the picture of my suitcase, it is going great! I hope you enjoy the painting of Starry Night that I did over the summer. I think it is pretty much better than the original. Hopefully this blog will soon be filled with Geishas and Koi fish. Adios! I would say something in Japanese to finish this post, but alas, I can only say the word "butthole" in Japanese, and I don't think that word would be fitting for this particular post, maybe next time!
